Confidentiality and independency
TÜV Rheinland EPS has no link to any designers, manufactures or distributors of electrical, electronic, RF or communications equipment and therefore holds an objective and independent position. TÜV Rheinland EPS is fully aware of the possible dangers of leakage of customer's know-how to third parties. All customer equipment, reports and test data are kept strictly confidential.
Radio equipment testing
TÜV Rheinland EPS is your address for highly qualified and efficient testing of a wide range of radio products like RFID, GSM, Bluetooth, WLAN (MiMo and WiMAX), EAS, Alarm systems, PMR, DECT phones, etc.
We have developed proprietary software to perform required radio tests quickly, while the quality level of the measurements is kept at a constant high level. Testing can be performed in accordance with most harmonized or non harmonized European (ETSI) standards or other standards used in non-European countries. (e.g. FCC, ARIB, IC).
EMC testing services
Testing intended to prove conformity with the EMC Directive 2004/108/EC and many other national and international EMC regulations can be done at our laboratory facilities or insitu, at any location you prefer. Our EMC testing includes EMI, RFI, radiated emission, radiated and conducted immunity, ESD, surges and voltage dips. In our laboratory testing can be performed in accordance with (harmonized) European standards and Directives, VCCI, FCC, CISPR and ETSI standards.
EMF exposures near mobile Base Stations Inside or outside buildings and far-field measurements are part
of the standard services.
Electrical safety
TÜV Rheinland EPS performs testing intended to prove conformity with the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC (73/23/EC).
Open Area Test Site
TÜV Rheinland EPS has an Open Area Test Site capable for measurements on 1, 3 or 10 meters distance. It is validated in accordance with European standards and is FCC and Industry Canada listed.
EMF Exposure & Specific Absorbtion Rate (SAR testing)
TÜV Rheinland EPS can perform RF exposure tests related to EU and international Exposure standards (ICNIRP). By using sophisticated testing equipment also SAR measurements for head and body exposure up to 6 GHz can be performed under accreditation. TÜV Rheinland EPS can perform SAR testing & RF exposure evaluation.
Our Approvals Services
TÜV Rheinland EPS is designated by the Dutch Government as a Notified Body, to assess Technical Files as mentioned under Annex III of the EMC directive 2004/108/EC.
TÜV Rheinland EPS is designated as a Notified Body for Annex III and IV under the R&TTE 1999/5/EC.
TÜV Rheinland EPS is designated as a Notified Body voor the LVD 2006/95/EC (73/23/EEC) to perform technical assessments and issuing opinions.
TÜV Rheinland EPS is accredited for Product Certification activities for EMC, Telecommunications and safety under guide 65.
Having TÜV Rheinland EPS as Certification Body and using the registered TÜV Rheinland EPS Logo will certify the constant quality of your products, within any possible certification scheme.
TÜV Rheinland EPS is Technical Service for the Dutch Vehicle Authority (RDW) to perform E mark testing related to EMC for automotive products.

TÜV Rheinland EPS may also assist you in obtaining type approvals for countries all around the world. TÜV Rheinland EPS can inform you about the technical requirements or can handle the full type approval for you.
