TÜV Rheinland EPS ensures that your electronic products are tested and approved in conformity with internationally recognised directives. Approved products have a good chance of a successful launch on international markets. Products that fail to meet the requirements of the country or region have no chance of success. Our service is described in more detail in the pages to follow.
Why do we test and inspect?
The goal of TÜV Rheinland is to protect people and the environment against damage caused by newly developed technologies. The triangle of our logo stands for the combination: people, environment and technology.
How does a certificate benefit you?
TÜV Rheinland's mark of approval on your product promotes sales. It shows the prospective buyer that the product is safe and reliable.
Buyers and public authorities want certainty about the quality of products and services. You can provide that certainty by having your products and services tested and approved by us. That way you will soon see whether your product meets the requirements and expectations.
CB certificate: THE solution for worldwide approval
If you are planning to place products with worldwide approval on the market the 'passport' CB scheme is an option for you. That way you can demonstrate on international markets with a single all-encompassing logo that your product meets the safety and reliability standards. TÜV Rheinland is one of the 42 globally operating NCBs (National Certification Body) that can issue a CB Scheme. This is recognised in almost 50 countries and therefore saves you local test and certification costs.
An added benefit of certification by TÜV Rheinland is the publication of the result on the frequently visited website www.tuvdotcom.com where the equipment certified by TÜV is shown. The site features a search function. Both your business partners and importers and end-users can see that your equipment has been tested, inspected and certified. That is a fast, worldwide way of demonstrating that your product meets the safety and quality requirements.
